Richard Rogers | Florence, Italy, 1933

Originally born in Italy, he later became a British citizen and joined the Architectural Association in London. He graduated from Yale University in 1962. There he met Norman Foster, with whom he formed Team 4, an association that included both their wives. The group split up in 1967 and Rogers teamed up with the Italian Renzo Piano. Director of Architecture and Urban Planning for the Greater London Authority, he is also an active member of the British Labour Party. He was awarded the title of Sir in 1991 and was admitted to the House of Lords in 1997.
In 2007 he was awarded the prestigeous Pritzker prize. Among his other awards and achievements are a gold medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1985, The Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation medal in 1999 and the Praemium Imperiale in year 2000. Among his most renowned designs with Renzo Piano are the George Pompidou Centre in Paris, and with Antonio Lamela, Terminal T4 of the Barajas Airport, Madrid.

Zaha Hadid | Bagdad, Irak, 1950

AngloIraki architect resident in London, Zaha Hadid majored in Mathematics from the American University of Beyrouth prior to being admitted to the London Architectural Association. She worked in the Office for Metropolitan Architecture for a while, before setting up her own studio in London. During the eighties she was a professor at the Architectural Association. She won many prizes at international contests, however, many of her designs never materialised due to their complex forms. In 2003 she was awarded the Contemporary Mies van der Rohe prize for comtemporary architecture and in 2004 she became the first female to receive the most prestigeous award for architecture, namely the Pritzker prize.
Among her most outstanding works are the Rosenthal Art Centre, Cincinnati and The Peak in Hong Kong.

Opersis carried out interior design in another of her famous buildings in Zaragoza: el The Brigde Pavillion at the 2008 International Expo.

Frank Ghery | Toronto, Canada, 1929

Although born in Canada he became a U.S. citizen. He graduated in Architecture in 1954 and later studied Urban Design at Harvard University.
After working in Los Angeles and Paris for several years, Gehry set up his own studio in L.A. His works comprise thre quality of the design and how it plays spatially. Ghery is one of the contemporary architects that, although keeping in mind aspects as the building’s functionality and its integration in the environment, considers architecture as a form of art, like sculpure is.
Frank Ghery has received many prestigious awards, like the Pritzker in 1989, The American Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 1999 and the Royal Institute od British Architects Gold Medal in the year 2000.

Opersis  (Kooplad-Drywall-UTE)  looked after the construction of the interior volumes of one his most  emblemathic works: the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

Richard Meier | Nova Jersey, Estats Units, 1934

He studied architecture at Cornell University. After working in various architect studios, he opened his own studio in 1963. Influenced by great architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier, in his works Meier concedes great importance to harmony, spaces, light and the clarity of lines. The majority of his buildings are white, the purest colour in his opinion, because it includes all the other colours and because it changes its tonality during the day.
Among others, in 1984 he was awarded the Pritzer prize, and the highest American Award, the American Institute of Architects Gold Medal.
He is the architect of, among many projects, of the Getty Center in Los Angeles and the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome.

Opersis (Drywall) is responsible for the construction of the interiors of one of his major Works: the Barcelona Contemporary Art Museum (Macba).
